Songs of Genocide

From the Sunday Times:

The opening of the landmark trial of a famous singer before the United Nations (UN) court for Rwanda's 1994 genocide, which could expand the limits of war crimes culpability, has been postponed.
This is an interesting story that isn't getting as much play in the press as I would like to see. As the article points out...

this case has the potential to set a new standard for culpability in cases of genocide. The mass murder of 800,000 people in Rwanda is a terrible tragedy, all the more so because of the lack of intervention by the rest of the world despite knowledge of what was taking place.

I hope that the tribunal is able to hear this case swiftly and that it sets a precedent for holding not just government leaders but everyone involved in campaigns of genocide responsible for their actions. (I'm looking at you Sudan.)
