UN estimates as many as 11 million people in East Africa are at risk of starvation because of a combination of drought and conflict, according to CNN.

I guess with all the religious protests, prospect of a global war breaking out, and vice presidents shooting 78 year old men in the face, it's easy to overlook 11 million people without food. But it's depressing nonetheless.
