Vice President Dick Cheney accidentally shot and wounded a companion during a weekend quail hunting trip in Texas, spraying the fellow hunter in the face and chest with shotgun pellets.
Does this strike anyone else so damn absurd that its downright hilarious. Seriously, in what other (democratic) country could the 2nd in the line of succession shoot someone in the face and it not be that big of a deal?

My "problem" with the "no big deal" coming from the White House, etc is that, if that were so, then it should be reciprocal, ie if one of Cheney's buds (like Scalia, say) had put a load into Dick in the area of his Pacemaker, why, what's the fuss? He's a Man, after all... a full-blooded Huntin' Man. ^..^
